Today I was fortunate enough to be reminded that my staff is doing a great job. Several of our regular customers are feeling quite ill. It seems the cold and flu season has reached us. Many have expressed that their regular cup of coffee does not sound appetizing to them. I recommended an excellent cup of hot tea. Not realizing it many of them choose one of my favorites a tropical green tea which is decaffeinated. Several have come back the next day to order the same beverage due to still feeling under the weather.

The compliment I am hearing goes like this: These regular customers whom many are completely addicted to caffeine are also addicted to my staff. Not only do they need that cup of coffee to start their day they also need a "Good Morning" from their friends at Dr. Java to start their day.

3-17-06 Computer Trouble

Today we had a great deal of computer trouble. As you may or may not know our computers, Point of Sale and Internet are integrated with a pharmacy we share a building with. This is a large undertaking for any Point of Sale Company. We at Dr. Java Coffee chose to purchase Coffee Shop Manager for our Point of Sale solution. www.coffeeshopmanager.com We have been using their software and hardware for over 3 years and been quite pleased. What happend today is just another reason why they are a fantastic company. Coffee Shop Manager has Technical Support second to none. Their industry knowledgeable staff "Eric" was familiar with our setup and configuration. It is a pleasant feeling knowing that you have not only a vender in the industry but a friend as well. Just started the DrJavaCoffee Blog and I am very excited.
To begin I will update you on our newest piece of business. "Dr. Java Whittwood" construction is underway. The estimated delivery date for the space is late April. We will see.
